When I got home today, I was surprised to see Luna dart strait for the hallway as soon as we got inside- usually, she likes to herd me up the stairs and to her dog food ASAP. But then I saw that what she was more interested in was the slice of PIZZA on the floor. With foreboding, I walked into the kitchen and found the refrigerator door ajar, and an empty box of pizza on the floor. My four cats managed to eat OVER HALF of a large Papa John's onion pizza. Now, since Luna obviously knew that there was PIZZA on the floor, my first mental image is of her staring in the window while the cats taunt her mercilessly. Crying things like, "wow, this is soooooo yummy!" The second mental image is off all the vomit and diarrhea I am sure to find at any moment.
But most of all it kind of scares me, because I picture that Kody was behind the whole thing; his way of protesting his food trial that doesn't allow any table food. It is sort of nerve-wracking to live with a cat with that kind of higher reasoning... and door opening skills!
