Hungry?

Apparently, I need to start eating breakfast. As lunchtime was approaching yesterday, I went in with the doctor for her final morning appointment. As I held this perfectly behaved cat, my stomach made this INCREDIBLY loud noise.

Doctor:

Wow, is he really growling? Or was that you???

Me:

Um, that was actually my stomach... I can't believe that just happened!

Cat Owner:

Are you kidding me???? I thought a semi truck just drove by outside!!! I didn't think a stomach could make that kind of NOISE! Oh, my GOD!

Doctor:

(laughing)

Guess we need to start feeding our employees from now on! No more starvation as a work motivator!

Me:

(flamingly red-faced by this point)

Yup, that was awful wasn't it?

(inner monologue)

Awfully embarrassing!

Note to self: invest in some cereal bars or something...
