AlyKat + Ipod = Luv 4ever

Wow. I am in love, in LOVE with the wonder that is Ipod. What's that you say? You're wondering if I meant to write this post five years ago? NO! I am just behind the times. And too cheap to spend $100+ on a toy for myself.
But I've coveted an Ipod, my green eyed monster flaring every time I saw someone at the gym with their cute little Ipod bouncing along with them on the treadmill. And then yesterday, I discovered the $48 joy that is the Ipod shuffle, which combined with the $25 gift card I won was too good to pass up.
I stayed up until 4am putting music on it, and listening to the music that I (with the help of Cowboy Cal, who would have a fit if he didn't get a mention here- everyone wave to Cal!) had put on. Oh, the wonder that is shuffle! "Hey there Delilah" next to "I Hate Myself for Loving You?" Perfect! Makes sense to me. I finally have something to compare my brain to- it is one big Ipod shuffle. Randomly connected thoughts that only make sense to me- my Ipod knows how I feel. We had a bonding moment. Seriously.
Yup, maybe I am a little too in love with an inanimate object. But I pined after Mr. Ipod for years, built an image up in my mind that nothing could actually measure up to... and he DID!
