Stomach in Knots

Nothing depresses me more than to see an animal injured, but when it is an amazing racehorse the breaks down doing what he loves the most (running; competing at the highest level...) it breaks my heart.
Pray for Barbaro, the awe-inspiring Kentucky Derby winner, that he survives his surgery and goes on to lead a quiet retirement in the lap of luxury.
(I know some of you don't understand this kind of emotion over an animal, and that's ok- you can still send him good wishes)
